1) 5 kg of ₹18 per kg wheat is mixed with 2 kg of another type of wheat to get a mixture
costing ₹20 per kg. Find the price (per kg) of the costlier wheat.

2) There are two types of milk. The price of one type of milk is ₹70/litre and the price of
other type of milk is ₹50/litre. If the two types of milk are mixed, the price of new
mixture will be ₹55/litre. Find the ratio of the two types of milk in this new mixture.

3) A chemist has two acidic solutions, one with 25% acid and another with 50% acid. How many liters of the first solution must be mixed with 8 liters of the second to produce a solution that is 40% acid?

4) A container contains a mixture of two liquids A and B in the ratio 7 : 5. When 9 litres of mixture are drawn off and the container is filled with B, the ratio of A and B becomes 7 : 9. How many litres of liquid A was contained by the container initially?

5) A mixture contains 30% sugar by weight. How much sugar must be added to 10 kg of this mixture to make it 50% sugar by weight?

10) A dairy owner mixes two types of milk, one containing 5% fat and the other containing 15% fat, to get 60 liters of milk with 10% fat. How many liters of the first type of milk are used?
