Calculate the total “oxen-months” for each person:
A = 10 oxen × 7 months = 70 oxen-months
B = 12 oxen × 5 months = 60 oxen-months
C = 15 oxen × 3 months = 45 oxen-months
Total oxen-months = 70 + 60 + 45 = 175 oxen-months
Rent per oxen-month = Total rent / Total oxen-months
= Rs. 175 / 175 oxen-months
= Rs. 1 per oxen-month
C’s share of rent = Number of C’s oxen-months × Rent per oxen-month
= 45 oxen-months × Rs. 1 per oxen-month
= Rs. 45
