Who can Apply?
This recruitment drive is open to unmarried male Indian citizens only. To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Between 18 and 22 years old (born between 01 March 2003 and 28 February 2007).
- Educational Qualification:
- Navik (General Duty): Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with Mathematics and Physics.
- Yantrik: Passed 10th (High School) examination with a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Telecommunication Engineering.
Selection Process:
The selection process for the CGEPT 01/2025 batch will be conducted in four stages:
- Stage I: Computer-Based Examination (CBE): This online computer-based test will assess your knowledge in various areas, including Mathematics, Science, General Awareness, and English Language.
- Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify in the CBE will be called for a physical fitness test to assess their endurance and agility. This will be followed by a medical examination to ensure you meet the required health standards for service in the Indian Coast Guard.
- Stage III: Final Merit List Preparation: Based on the performance in Stages I and II, a final merit list will be prepared.
- Stage IV: Training and Final Verification: Selected candidates will undergo rigorous training to prepare them for their roles in the Coast Guard. Upon successful completion of training and final verification of documents, you will be formally inducted into the Indian Coast Guard.
